Ok, remeber American Graffitti? well, Paul LaMatt, "Milner" was present at the time, and agreed to come over and sign, not only the sawblade I painted, but a print of a similar coupe, pretty cool.

It was supposed to go up for auction the very minute he signed it, everyone was there, waiting.......the auctioner, along witht he promotor of the show, decided not to auction it off yet? as advertised throughout the day, instead......while people were their waiting for a bid.......they decided to "hey everyone! show up at 9 pm to bid on the saw" what a huge mistake.....at 9 pm, a handful of people showed up........and it got bid at $700......what a deal.

This was our first year at trying this, mistakes were made, people took things upon themselves to think "better ways" and didn't listen.....and this is exactly what happens. that saw, with the amount of people there could have brought so much more, had they not stopped the auction and tried to get "rid" of smaller pieces.....at one moment, I actually told the auctioner....to start to run the bid on saw, I, the artist got ignored and was told no. Through my experience with shows like this one, this will be run a different way.....the artist's way.......
